Description
Sticky, spicy, and sweet—this hot honey chicken sheet pan dinner is made just for one. No marinating, no mess, just bold flavor on a single tray.
Ingredients
1 bone-in chicken thigh (or boneless if preferred)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce (your choice)
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup sweet potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup Brussels sprouts or green beans
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. Toss sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with half the olive oil and a pinch of salt. Add to one side of the pan.
3. Place the chicken thigh on the other side. Drizzle with remaining oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, until chicken is nearly cooked and vegetables are tender.
5. In a small bowl, mix honey and hot sauce. Brush over chicken in final 5 minutes of cooking.
6. Return to oven until glaze bubbles and edges brown slightly (about 5 more minutes).
7. Serve hot, directly from the pan or plated with veggies. Optional: drizzle extra hot honey on top.
Notes
- Use parchment for easier cleanup.
- Hot sauce types change the flavor—sriracha for sweeter heat, Frank’s for tang, or chili crisp for texture.
- Double sauce if you like it extra sticky or want to save a spoonful for drizzling on veggies or eggs tomorrow.
